The American Consumer Council is pleased to introduce
TeenRich™ – our 2012 Financial Literacy
program and curriculum for teens. We look forward to working with our corporate
and financial institution partners to help educate a new generation of American
consumers on how to make money, save and spend their hard-earned dollars! ACC offers three options relating to TeenRich™: 1. The TeenRich™ Train-the-Trainer Workshop for Educators. This workshop consists of a one-day program hosted by ACC in partnership with its network of credit unions and financial partners. Workshop participants will also receive a certificate of completion from the American Consumer Council and its university sponsor. There is no cost to educators to attend this workshop; however, space is limited and advance registration is required. 2. Certification Course in TeenRich™. This 8-module on-line course is designed to certify educators in teaching a comprehensive TeenRich™ program to teens (Grades 7-12). It consists of 8 modules that educators can complete over a two-week period and be certified by ACC’s university partner. Graduates will receive a TeenRich™ Certificate in Financial Literacy from ACC and its university partner. Tuition for the certification course is $295. Graduates will have access to downloading all course materials for their students at a 50 % discount. 3. TeenRich™ Course Materials. Educators may purchase the TeenRich™ 8-module course and download all course materials for their students. The package includes: Teacher’s Guide for all 8 lessons; Student Activities for each lesson; and, Power Point presentations for each lesson. Educators who have completed the Certificate in Financial Literacy from ACC and its university partner, will receive a 50% discount on all materials they order. 2012 TeenRich™ Lesson Plan: 1.
