The American Consumer Council has a network of 50 state consumer councils, two regional consumer councils, and 125 local consumer councils that support our efforts to educate and protect the interests of consumers. All members of ACC have the option to belong and participate in the activities of their respective state or regional consumer council at no extra cost. The primary focus of the consumer councils is to educate consumers on financial matters, advocate on behalf of consumers on issues that have a local or regional impact and promote Green practices as embodied in ACC’s Green C Certification program.
